Tasty Tuesday: Think Pink Lemonade Pie

This Tasty Tuesday I am honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month by featuring a pink recipe.  I also want to direct your attention to an article entitled “There is Hope After a Breast Cancer Diagnosis” written by Eloise Caggiano, Program Director for the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer and 7-year cancer survivor, who was diagnosed at age 33.

Here’s a quote from Eloise: “I’d like to think that every time someone is diagnosed with breast cancer, it raises the awareness for those around them, causing those people to become a little more educated and a little more vigilant about their own health. Something good out of something bad.”

Women like her inspire me to be thankful every day for my blessings of family, friends, health and hope. Here is:
Think Pink Lemonade Pie

1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

1 (6 oz) can frozen pink lemonade concentrate, thawed

1 (8 oz) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

2 (8 inch) prepared graham cracker crusts

Directions: In a large bowl, mix together sweetened condensed milk and lemonade concentrate. Fold in whipped topping. Pour into pie crusts. Refrigerate until completely chilled. Top with pink berries, if desired.

    Wow! That sounds so incredibly simple to make Nancy! I love being able to indulge in a little decadence with very little work involved. And I love that quote you shared. It is so very true.
